“Esco Alley Art, a community event that

kicks off this spring to promote Escondido as an

Arts destination, is looking for local artists to

create a series of temporary murals for display

on the brick wall in the alley between

South Broadway and Maple Street.

Artists will be provided with an 8 ft. x 8 ft. square panel

or 4 ft. x 8 ft. rectangular panel.

Completed murals will then be mounted to the alley wall.

The first phase of 10 murals is scheduled to start this spring.

The mural project is organized by the

Escondido Art Association and Escondido Downtown Business Association, and funded by community donations.
