Downtown Escondido transforms Grand Avenue into the ultimate skate destination with a temporary rink made of sport court tiles,

right in the middle of the street.

Seasoned skaters and first-timers, glide, spin, and groove

to great tunes with friends and family.

Bring your own skates or rent a pair on-site.
A limited supply of youth protective gear is available 

please bring your own if you have it.

The Market on the Plaza brings together local makers and artists for three festive weekends of holiday shopping and celebration. Explore handmade goods, homemade treats, and original art in a lively pedestrian plaza that connects City Hall, the California Center for the Arts, and Historic Downtown Escondido.

Enjoy the season surrounded by music, lights, and community cheer  and make Downtown Escondido part of your holiday tradition!
