Helping in that effort will be Ricky Lizalde, the Escondido native competing on the "Project Runway" TV show. Lizalde has agreed to participate in some of the activities of Fashion Week, May 5 through 9. The Escondido High School graduate has made it to the final six designers in the Bravo network competition that airs at 10 p.m. every Wednesday.
