NEW HOURS: 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Grand Avenue between Centre City Parkway and Ivy Street
The Escondido Downtown Street Faire is the second largest one-day street faire in the state. The Faire is sponsored by the Escondido Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Business Association. More than 60,000 people converge to check out the 600 unique vendors, who have a little of everything: arts and crafts, home improvement area, unique clothing, food from around the world, and more. Children's rides, animal demonstrations by the San Diego Wild Animal Park, and an old-fashioned pancake breakfast guarantee that you'll find fun for the whole family!
On the Community Stage this May, we are presenting the following lineup of local and regional talent!
11:00 a.m.
Off Broadway Dancers Popular Boys and Girls Club Dance group returns to show their talent with various routines to please and applaud!
12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Elite Performance Bound Escondido Dance school students takes the stage with dance numbers sure to entertain young and old. First time on the Street Faire Stage!
12:35 p.m. to 12:50 p.m.
Dance Fitness, Inc. Cheerleading students from this Escondido school show off their skills at this first-time cheerleading exhibition.
1:00 p.m. to 1:50 p.m.
Standing Room Only Escondido Recreation Dept. brings a show choir of Escondido kids, ages 6 to 10, to the stage with Broadway songs based on the theme "Hope for the Future!" How can this not be a hit!
2:00 p.m. to 2:50 p.m.
Georgia's School of Dance Award-winning dance school, one of Escondido's most respected, takes center stage with top dancers and choreography that wins awards across the state. Georgia's students are pros, and are tops in the community.
3:00 p.m. to 3:50 p.m.
Kathi Burg, singer/songwriter San Diego regional talent, Kathi Burg brings a solid reputation for excellent songwriting and popular performances around the county. This is Kathi's first appearance at the Escondido Street Faire!
4:00 p.m. to 4:50 p.m.
School of Rock The Paul Green School of Rock from Vista joins the Faire with Rock and Roll performed by our future's greatest rock stars!
5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The Bleedin' Irish The popular, 5-piece Irish "Rebel Rockabilly" band from San Diego winds up the day with high-energy original music and a stage performance that will get the crowd on their feet and joining in the celebration. Expect to be smilin'!
